Mat Latos pitched 8 1/3 innings of two-run ball in a no-decision against the Marlins on Thursday. Starting the ninth with a 2-1 lead, Latos gave up a one-out triple to Adeiny Hechavarria and was pulled in favor of Aroldis Chapman. Chapman went on to give up a triple of his own to take his first blown save, but he preserved the tie from there and got the win in relief. It was Latos' fifth no-decision in nine starts this season. The other four were all wins, and he still hasn't taken a loss since last Aug. 24.
