Mat Latos (knee) is tentatively scheduled to pitch in a minor league game on Wednesday. Latos first has to make it through a Tuesday throwing session. He underwent surgery in mid-February for a tear of the meniscus in his left knee but is aiming to start the Reds' sixth game of the regular season on April 6 against the Mets. Because of an April 1 off-day, that's the first time Cincinnati will need a fifth starter.
