Mat Latos (knee) could appear in a minor league game on Tuesday or Wednesday. The Reds had been hoping he could make his Cactus League debut on Monday, but that's obviously not going to happen. Coming back from surgery to repair a tear of the meniscus in his left knee, Latos will begin the season on the disabled list but is hoping to be ready on April 6 when the club first needs a fifth starter.
