Mat Latos held the Cardinals to two runs over seven innings Saturday in the Reds' 4-2 victory. Latos wasn't dominant, but he did a nice job navigating the dangerous St. Louis lineup and wound up striking out five batters without issuing a walk. The right-hander has an ace-like 2.87 ERA in 84 2/3 innings this season. He should keep rolling next week against the Cubs.
