Mat Latos (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment on Sunday. It will likely be at Triple-A Louisville, though that's not set in stone yet. Latos will throw 50-60 pitches in the outing. It's not clear how many rehab appearances he'll need, but if he gets his pitch count up to 60 in his first one, he shouldn't need many more. Count on an early June return from the righty as long as all goes well.
