Martinez went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two walks during Saturday's win over the White Sox in the second game of their doubleheader.
EDGE Analysis
This was just the fourth home run of the season for the designated hitter, and with an underwhelming .384 slugging percentage, Martinez hasn't provided much pop. The 38-year-old veteran is just a season removed from posting a .476 mark, and his 25 RBI are an admirable total at this stage. Staying patient with Martinez should pay off in the long run. He's locked into the heart of a dangerous lineup, after all.
