Marmolejos was placed on the 60-day disabled list with a left forearm strain to make room for catcher Matt Wieters on the 40-man roster, Jamal Collier of MLB.com reports.

He hasn't yet played in the majors but has posted some nice numbers at the lower levels in recent years, including a .289/.370/.475 line combined last year at High-A Potomac and Double-A Harrisburg in 2016.
