Marmolejos was added to the Nationals' 40-man roster Friday, Dan Kolko of MASN reports.

Marmolejos is not one of Washington's premier prospects, but he continues to hit well in the minors, tallying 13 home runs and 45 doubles between High-A and Double-A last season. That being said, a blocked path to the majors and a high strikeout rate seem to be capping the 23-year-old's ability to rise through the organization.
