Marlon Byrd went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's win against the Pirates. He's gone 19-for-59 (.322) in July, answering critics who expected his career to end at any moment. Even Byrd's family didn't expect this caliber of season from the veteran outfielder. Left for dead a year ago, he's currently on pace to finish with 27 homers and 91 RBI, both of which would be career bests.
