Marlon Byrd went 2-for-3 in Wednesday's loss to the Blue Jays. Byrd appeared to be the only one who could figure Jays starter Mark Buehrle out, getting two of the club's three hits against the lefty, including a double. Byrd has had two or more hits in five out of his last six games, and has hit safely in 10 out of his last 11 games. As a result, he's up to a comfortable .311/.344/.508 slash line.
