Marlon Byrd went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a sacrifice fly in Tuesday's win over the Padres. Byrd broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the fourth inning with a three-run opposite-field home run off of Ian Kennedy. The blast was his 10th of the season and he now has a .264/.318/.477 slash line with 38 RBI. The numbers aren't quite where they were last year but he has been a massive upgrade for the Phillies in right field.
