Marlon Byrd went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Thursday's loss to the Mets. The Phillies found it difficult to muster much against Mets starter Zack Wheeler, but Byrd's seventh-inning solo blast knocked the right-hander out of the game after 6 1/3 innings. Byrd continues to swing the bat well, as he now has seven homers, 31 RBI, and a .284/.332/.485 slash line.
