Marlins sent OF Gorkys Hernandez outright to Triple-A New Orleans. Hernandez successfully passed through waivers after being designated for assignment over the weekend. The 25-year-old batted just .192/.267/.301 across 173 plate appearances in the majors last season and will serve as outfield depth in the minors.
