Marlins recalled C Brett Hayes from Triple-A New Orleans. Hayes hit just .202/.229/.254 over 39 contests in his time with the Fish this year. With John Buck and Rob Brantly likely to handle the catching duties next year, he'll probably return to New Orleans to start 2013.
