Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen said that Giancarlo Stanton (knee) will not play Friday. Marlins general manager Mike Hill said that all went went during Stanton's batting practice session Thursday, but apparently the club wants to play things safe. If the 22-year-old slugger misses the rest of the weekend, he will almost certainly skip the All-Star game festivities.
