Marlins avoided arbitration with RHP Steve Cishek by agreeing to a one-year, $3.8 million contract. Cishek gets a big raise after qualifying for arbitration this winter as a Super Two player. His first full season as the Marlins' closer was a good one, as the righty held a 2.34 ERA while recording 33 saves.
