Mark Teixeira (wrist) will visit doctors Monday and could be allowed to begin strengthening exercises. Teixeira was diagnosed on March 6 with a tendon sheath injury in his right wrist. He will have the splint removed from that wrist if all goes well in Monday's checkup. The Yankees aren't expecting to have their starting first baseman until late May or early June.
