Mark Teixeira (wrist) is scheduled to take some swings Friday to determine if he's ready to return to the starting lineup. Teixeira hasn't played since Monday due to inflammation in his left wrist. He was given a cortisone shot earlier this week and appears to be making progress, but we'll know more after he goes through pre-game activities.
