Mark Teixeira went 3-for-6 with a pair of homers and a career-high six RBI Saturday in the Yankees' defeat of the Red Sox. Teixeira hit a solo shot off of Felix Doubront that got the Yankees on the board in the sixth inning. In his next at-bat in the seventh, he hit an opposite field three-run blast over the Green Monster to pull them within one. Next time up, in the eighth inning, Tex ripped a two-run double to increase the lead to 12-9. He now has three homers and 11 RBI on the young season.
