Mark Teixeira went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Athletics. Teixeira provided the Yankees' only offense, bringing home their first run with a single in the first inning, and their second with a solo homer in the sixth off of Scott Kazmir. Teixeira has been battling soreness in his right wrist, but it's a good sign that he was able to muscle out a home run. He's slashing .250/.373/.500 with 10 home runs and 27 RBI on the season.
