Mark Teixeira went 1-for-4 with a two-run single in Thursday's loss to the White Sox. Teixeira brought the Yankees back into the game with the two RBI in the ninth inning, making the score 3-2. The Yankees were not able to take full advantage, however. The first baseman has now hit safely in 17 of 20 games in the month of May, and is slashing .263/.368/.518 with 25 RBI on the season.
