Mark Teixeira went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and three walks in Thursday's win over the Red Sox. Teixeira's third-inning blast off of Felix Doubront was his first of the season. He entered the game with just one extra base hit in 28 trips to the plate, as he is still dealing with the effects of wrist surgery last season. While the home run was nice to see, he'll have to show that power on a more consistent basis before his stock will rise.
