Mark Teixeira was scratched from the Yankees' lineup Monday in St. Louis due to a stiff right wrist. Yankees manager Joe Girardi said he expects Teixeira to return Tuesday night. The first baseman has a cool .853 OPS with nine homers and 25 RBI in 35 games this year.
