Mark Teixeira was diagnosed Wednesday with "severely inflamed bronchial airways." It's a condition that has been affecting his breathing all season, but it's very much treatable. Teixeira has been prescribed a non-anabolic steroid and should begin feeling better within days. The 32-year-old first baseman is batting .217/.270/.374 with four home runs and 17 RBI through 126 plate appearances this season.
