Mark Teixeira ripped a two-run double off Brad Lidge in the top of the 14th inning on Saturday, leading the Yankees to a 5-3 victory over the Nationals in Washington. Teixeira was 0-for-5 with three strikeouts heading into that final at-bat, but more than redeemed himself with the clutch double. His average is still in the tank at .243, but it's hard to argue with the consistent power production that he provides year in and year out. He has now driven in 38 runs on the season to go along with his 11 homers.
