Mark Teixeira left Saturday's game against the Twins with an undisclosed injury. Brian Roberts was in the on-deck circle in Teixeira's place in the bottom of the fifth, but the inning ended. Teixeira took his spot at first base and made it through the top of the sixth, then was pinch-hit for by Roberts leading off the bottom of the sixth. Teixeira has been dealing with soreness in his right wrist, so that seems like a likely culprit. The Yankees should provide more details soon. Teixeira was 0-for-2 with a strikeout prior to his departure.
