Mark Teixeira is headed back to New York in order to undergo an MRI on his forearm. The early word is that Teixeira has a strained forearm that will sideline him for the next 7-10 days, but the Yankees want to do more tests just to be safe. Assuming the MRI doesn't find more extensive damage, he'll have no trouble getting ready for the start of the regular season.
