Mark Teixeira is dealing with a Grade 1 strain of his right hamstring. Teixeira suffered the injury on Friday night and was placed on the disabled list Saturday. It sounds like he could be back by the end of the month if all goes well. The Yankees will try to make due with Kelly Johnson as their primary first baseman for now.
