Mark Teixeira has been diagnosed with a strained forearm and will be sidelined for the next 7-10 days. Teixeira suffered the injury Tuesday while hitting in a cage before Team USA's exhibition game against the White Sox. He has been removed from the Team USA roster and will report back to Yankees camp. Team USA is expected to add a new first baseman before Friday night's World Baseball Classic opener against Mexico.
