Mark Teixeira (hamstring) played three innings at extended spring training on Thursday afternoon. Teixeria is eligible to return from the disabled list on Sunday and told George King III of the New York Post that he will be "disappointed" if the Yankees don't activate him. He's been out since April 5 with a hamstring strain.
