Mark Teixeira (calf) ran in the outfield Thursday. Teixeira displayed no noticeable limp during the workout but admitted to reporters soon after that he still felt some tightness in his troublesome left calf. The first baseman is aiming to return on Friday night but may wind up needing a few additional days of rest.
