Mark Teixeira (calf) felt good after taking six at-bats in live batting practice Friday. Teixeira is scheduled to play in an instructional league game Saturday and could rejoin the Yankees for the final series of the season against the Red Sox if all goes well. The 32-year-old first baseman hasn't played since aggravating his left calf strain on September 8.
