Mark Teixeira belted a two-run homer off Dillon Gee in the sixth inning, leading the Yankees to a 4-2 victory over the Mets on Saturday. Teixeira finished the night 1-for-2, but that one was the most important hit of the game. He may only be hitting .248 on the year, but still remains one of the most consistent run producers in the game with 11 homers and 35 RBI. He's driven in at least 105 runs each of the last eight seasons, and as long as he keeps hitting in the middle of the Yankees lineup, that should continue again this year.
