Mariners optioned INF Luis Rodriguez to Triple-A Tacoma. He was cleared to make room for Dustin Ackley on the active roster. Rodriguez made the Mariners out of spring training, but was batting just .167/.271/.292 with one home run and 11 RBI over his first 87 plate appearances this season. He'll probably be back at some point this summer.
