Mariners optioned 3B Alex Liddi to Triple-A Tacoma; reassigned Cs John Hicks and Ronny Paulino and INF Stefen Romero to minor league camp. None of the cuts are a surprise. Liddi has posted some big numbers in the minors at times, but he's yet to receive much of a look in Seattle and probably won't unless Kyle Seager gets injured.
