Mariners manager Lloyd McClendon said that Michael Saunders (knee) is still "a little tender" and unlikely to play much in the series versus the Rays. Saunders suffered a hyperextended knee on Saturday. It doesn't sound like he'll need a disabled list stint, but he's obviously not quite ready to return to the lineup.
