Mariners GM Jack Zduriencik said Kyle Seager will start at third base Thursday and should remain the starter there for the foreseeable future. The Mariners have simply had enough of Chone Figgins, and Seager will get his shot. The 23-year-old posted a .336/.401/.495 batting line with six home runs and nine stolen bases in 78 games this season between Double- and Triple-A. He should carry AL-only league value.
