MRI results Wednesday revealed that New York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman has been diagnosed with a left calf muscle tear. He has been placed on the injured list. It does not appear he will need surgery, but it is unclear how long Stroman will be sidelined. Depending on the severity of the muscle tear, he may be lost for the duration of the shortened 2020 season.
