Starting pitcher Marcus Stroman of the Chicago Cubs delivered six solid innings. Still, his effort could not secure a win, and he had to settle for a no-decision in a close 2-1 loss to the Washington Nationals Wednesday. Stroman displayed great accuracy, throwing 59 of his 92 pitches for strikes, but did allow three walks and five hits while striking out five batters. Despite the disappointing result, Stroman has had a productive start to the season, as he's posted a 2.18 ERA.
