Marcus Stroman allowed just one hit over seven innings and combined with two relievers on an 8-0 shutout the Red Sox on Thursday. Showing once again how huge momentum is in baseball, the Jays ended up winning three straight over Boston after getting crushed 14-1 in Monday's season opener. The Red Sox's lone hit today was Shane Victorino's flare single in the seventh. However, even if that didn't drop in, it's unlikely Stroman would have had a chance to go for the no-no; he was at 97 pitches after seven innings and the Jays are being careful with him. The rookie is now 6-2 with a 3.21 ERA.
