Marco Scutaro went 2-for-5 and hit a two-run homer Friday against the Padres. We know the Giants fell in love with Ryan Theriot for some reason, but Scutaro is the superior option as a starting second baseman now that Pablo Sandoval is back. He's hit .325 and driven in 17 runs while striking out just four times in 80 at-bats for the Giants. Theriot has 27 RBI in 322 at-bats for the season.
