Marco Scutaro was scratched from the Giants' lineup Tuesday due to a stiff back. Scutaro has dealt with back issues dating back to late June. It doesn't appear he's had a serious setback, but the Giants want to give him at least a day. Joaquin Arias is filling in at second base.
