Marco Scutaro told Andrew Baggarly of CSNBayArea.com that he would like to return to the Giants next season. Scutaro wasn't too thrilled when he was traded from the Rockies in July, but it hasn't taken him long to get comfortable in his return to the Bay Area. "I would love to come back here," said Scutaro, an impending free agent. "I really love it here. There are great fans, it's a great place to play. More important, it's a place where you have a chance to win every year." Scutaro is willing to sign during the team's exclusive negotiating window after the season and Baggarly hears that the Giants "will make every effort" to keep him since they don't have any major-league ready alternatives at second base. Scutaro, who turns 37 in October, is batting .293/.336/.388 with six home runs, 60 RBI, nine stolen bases and a .724 OPS in 139 games played this season between the Giants and Rockies.
