Marco Scutaro remained out of the Giants lineup for a second consecutive day on Friday, due to manager Bruce Bochy wanting to give him two consecutive days to rest his sore back. The veteran infielder has battled a nagging back injury throughout the season, and Bochy is just making sure he does everything in his power to keep him healthy for the stretch run. Scutaro is hitting .311/.370/.391 with two homers and 22 RBI on the season.
