Marco Scutaro (hip) traveled to St. Louis with the Giants but his status for NLCS Game 3 is unclear. An MRI taken Tuesday on Scutaro's hip revealed a muscle strain. He suffered the injury Monday when he was plowed into by the Cardinals' Matt Holliday on a takeout slide at second base. The Giants are calling him day-to-day. Ryan Theriot could be asked to fill in on Wednesday.
