Manship signed a minor league contract with the Indians on Thursday, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports. Manship was able to parlay a minor league deal into an Opening Day roster spot with the Phillies last season, but that would essentially be the highlight of his 2014. He ended up compiling a 6.65 ERA and 16:14 K:BB ratio over 23 frames before being outrighted off the 40-man roster in July. He's likely best suited for a role as organizational bullpen depth at Triple-A at this stage in his career.
