Manny Machado singled and launched a solo homer in Friday's loss to the Rays. Machado took Brad Boxberger way out to left field in the seventh inning for his fifth longball of the season. It cut the Rays' lead to 5-2, but that's as close as the Orioles got. Machado has been moved down in the lineup until his bat heats up, and it's started to with eight hits over his last five games.
