Manny Machado had three hits in four at-bats, including a solo home run, in Wednesday's defeat at the hands of the Nationals. The Orioles didn't have a whole lot going for them offensively against Doug Fister. Machado's fourth-inning solo homer brought the Orioles back to 4-2, but that was the extent of their offense. The 21-year-old third baseman has homered in five out of his last eight games and is on a six-game hitting streak. Machado owns a .269/.315/.423 slash line with nine home runs and 20 RBI.
