Manny Machado (back) received an anti-inflammatory injection after Tuesday's game. Machado was a late scratch Tuesday after his lower back tightened up on him. He's never had back issues before and will be re-evaluated Wednesday to see how much progress he's made. Consider the third baseman day-to-day.
