Manager Paul Molitor said that Grossman (groin) came out of Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against the Red Sox without incident and is expected to be ready to go for Opening Day, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Grossman started in left field and struck out in both of his at-bats Wednesday, but he showed no signs of the groin strain while moving around defensively in what was his first Grapefruit League appearance in 10 days. It's expected that Grossman will share duties in left field with Eddie Rosario to begin the season, with Rosario likely picking up the bulk of the starts at the position.
